When I decided to move to the Sunshine State, I knew things would be different. I knew I'd miss friends and family, have to start over being the "new girl," miss out on special events and fun, everyday things. In theory, I thought I'd be prepared for all of it. But reality is a little different and the holiday season is proving just how different my reality has become.

Let the games begin
Games. We've all played them. Whether we want to admit it or not, we've all set a trap, planted a seed or fought back eye-for-an-eye style in the world of relationships.
We all want to claim we are better than that. But if he didn't return a call or text for two days, she waits two days to get back to him. And if he felt jealous seeing her talk to another guy, he flirts with another girl in front of her to make her feel what he felt. That's just the reality we live in. Dating makes us vulnerable -- and we hate it. So when our feelings get hurt or we get annoyed, we want to even the score. It's human nature.
